Fees

Fees vary by service (therapy, testing, evaluation, parent coordination) and by service provider. Please contact the specific psychologist with whom you wish to schedule an appointment to inquire about fees.

Although all psychologists at Psychological Alliance, P.L. have standard fees for services, in some circumstances in which there is a demonstrated financial need, sliding scale fees may be available. 

Payment Methods

We accept several methods of payment, including cash, checks, credit cards (Visa/MC), and debit cards.

Insurance

We accept many insurance plans; however, the

specific insurance companies for which we are considered "in-network" providers varies by psychologist in our office. Please contact the office to inquire about which psychologists participate in your network or check in your insurance company's provider directory. Even if we are not in your network, many policies include "out-of-network" benefits which will cover a portion of the fees. Contact your insurance company to inquire about benefits specific to your policy coverage.

Using Your Insurance

Insurance benefits vary by company and type of policy. Please contact your insurance company for information about your specific coverage details. When you contact your insurance company, let them know that you are inquiring about "outpatient mental health" benefits. We suggest that you ask several questions, such as:

1) Does my coverage require that I get a pre-authorization 

     number before I schedule an appointment?

2) How many outpatient sessions per year am I covered for?

3) How much is my deductible? How much of my deductible have

    I met so far?

4) What is my co-pay?

5) To what address should my claims be sent? (Our office will bill

    your insurance company and send in the claims for you).

6) Do I have any "out-of-network" benefits? (In case you want

    to receive services from a provider who is not an in-network

    provider for your insurance company)
